Cara is a second year Master’s student studying Food Innovation and Product Design, a program that took her through France, Ireland, and now Lund, Sweden. When not thinking about sustainable food systems, Cara enjoys bread-making among her other fermentation projects.
Sanne is a student at the European Master in Food Science. She is from the Netherlands but also studies in Ireland, Paris and now in Lund. Her biggest interest during her study is making the food industry more sustainable and this can also be seen in her daily life. She loves to think about how to reuse things, decrease food waste and be creative but also help people get more informed. Living more sustainably doesn't have to be hard, together we can make small steps which can make a huge influence in the end!
Food Saving Lund aims at increasing awareness around food sustainability and takes action to tackle food waste. Their large network of volunteers commit to pick-up unsold food from partners and redistribute it across communities in Lund.
