Social Erasmus Coordinators

‘Social Erasmus’ is a europe-wide project that wants to create social awareness amongst exchange students and to facilitate their integration into the local community through volunteering. Our mission is to provide young people with the opportunity to do more with their mobility experience, to make a difference and create a positive social change!

The Social Erasmus activity that we run is Erasmus in Schools. Erasmus in Schools is a project in which international students are given the opportunity to integrate more into the local community by visiting school classes to discuss their home countries and international mobility. The project aims to familiarise young, local students with the European Union but also other countries and its citizens, their languages, cultures, their traditions and customs. We hope that the experience will challenge stereotypes of different countries as part of our commitment to promote diversity and tolerance.

As social erasmus coordinator you will be in charge of contacting local schools to invite them to host university students in the context of the Social Erasmus project, you will form the groups that will visit the schools and oversee the final presentations.

(P.s. You don’t have to do it all alone, you will get help from the education officers, the president and many other motivated ESNer’s)

Partnership Managers

Are you a natural sales person? Or do you have a great passion for marketing? Then this might be the position for you!

As Partnership Manager you are responsible for promoting ESN Lund to businesses and organizations in our surrounding environment, and for managing the relationships with our established partnerships. It is important to have an understanding of our own organization and know what we can offer to businesses. But it is equally important to have a good eye for finding relevant partners that fit with our values.

A successful Partnership Manager contributes to the student life in Lund by providing valuable opportunities for our members by at the same time supporting local businesses by promoting them in our network.

Education Officers

As education officer you will be the main expert on education matters! You will lead projects that relate to the studying aspect of university life, like organising study nights or educational workshops on interesting topics. You are also free to delve into neighbouring fields and even organise career related events to help prepare your fellow students (and yourself) for the labour market!

Also, you will be helping out the Social Erasmus Coordinators with the Social Erasmus project which entails visiting local high schools and presenting different countries and cultures to the students in an interactive way, in order to motivate them to go abroad in their future studies!

In addition to the local events you will be organising for the students in Lund, you will also be collaborating on the national level with the Education Officer of ESN Sweden, to defy the boarders of each Swedish section and work on projects together as a big network!

ExchangeAbility Coordinators

ERASMUS and international experiences should be for everyone! The ExchangeAbility project was launched by ESN International to promote students with disabilities going abroad.

As an ExchangeAbility Coordinator in ESN Lund you will help make our events and community more accessible to students with disabilities. You will be encouraged to organize your own events to raise awareness about and include students from both Sweden and abroad with disabilities. We will also rely on your input in removing obstacles to participate in our other activities. You will be a valuable contributor to making Lund a more accessible student city!
